2021 BECE results released | Buy checker | Check Results-2022

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released the 2021 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) provisional results. The Council has hosted the results online and candidates may access their results at the Council’s website.

STATISTICS FOR STUDENTS WHO SAT FOR THE 2021 BECE

A total of 572,167 candidates made up of 287,730 males and 284,437 females entered for the examination. Among the registered candidates, 61 had visual impairment and 321 were identified with hearing impairment. In addition, 86 candidates had special assessment needs due to other conditions.

The total entry figure was 7.61% higher than the 2020 entry of 531,707. In all 18,028 schools presented candidates for the examination, which was administered at 2,158 centres. Out of the total number of candidates who registered, 7,315 (1.28%) were absent.

HOW TO CHECK/ACCESS YOUR BECE RESULTS

  1. Log onto the WAEC results checking portal by CLICKING HERE with an internet-connected device. With this process, using a computer will be recommended to enable saving the results in a pdf format for printing.
  2.  NOTE: you can however use your smartphone for viewing the results and later visit the internet café to make a printout since the results checker can be used 3 times to check the same results.
  3. On the next page ‘Enter your Index Number’.
  4. Select the Type of Examination (e.g.  BECE School).
  5. Select your Examination Year (eg. 2021)
  6.  Enter the Serial Number found on the Voucher.
  7. Enter the 12-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Voucher (eg. 052149678614)
  8. Confirm your Index Number and Examination Year to certify that your examination information is correct.
  9. Click on Submit and agree to the terms and conditions that appear in the pop-up window.
  10. Click on the PRINT button to save it in PDf format.
