2022 GES Assurance & Requirements Updates-For all GES Staff

As part of the conditions for seeking for transfer in the Ghana Education Service (GES), an applicant must seek assurance from the district of choice where vacancies exist. As part of the assurance process, the district director issues an assurance letter or otherwise to the applicant.

After securing the assurance letter, the applicant is then required to apply for reposting from his/her current district.
The District Director forwards the application letter and inter-regional or inter-district transfer reposting form, as well as all necessary documents. The documents to be submitted in addition to the application letter for the 2022 GES assurance, which serves as requisite requirements are as follows;

Cover Letter from Headteacher, Confidential Letter from the District Director, Academic certificates, Promotion or Upgrading Letter, Payslip, Personal Record form, First Appointment Letter, Transfer Letter (If Any), Passport Picture (Current), Flat file, Bank clearance) with a covering letter to the Regional Director for final approval.

Teachers or GES staff who applied for this year’s assurances are urged to check on it from their various district education directorates. Information gathered by Educandghana.net indicates that those who applied have their letters ready. Other applicants who were unsuccessful are urged to apply again when the window opens again. Meanwhile, successful applicants are to submit the documents below for a collection of their letters.
