The Ghana Education Service (GES) will soon open a window for its staff who are due for promotion to apply for their respective ranks. According to the GES, the promotion aptitude test will be conducted in AUGUST 2021. This means the application window would be opened any moment from now to enable qualified staff to apply.

WHO QUALIFIES TO APPLY FOR GES PROMOTION IN 2021?

Information gathered and observations made by Educanghana.net, the terrain will not be different from that of the 2020 promotion qualification. Therefore, let’s delve into the qualifications /requirements.

2021 GES PROMOTIONAL RANKS & QUALIFICATION

DEPUTY DIRECTOR: Promotion to the grade of AD l should be on or before 2016

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR I (AD I): Promotion to grade of AD II should be on or before 2016

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR Il: Promotion to grade of the Principal Supt should be on or before 2016

PRINCIPAL SUPERINTENDENT(PS): Promotion to the grade of Senior Superintendent l (SS I) should be on or before 2016

MASTER’S DEGREE: The said approved degree should be obtained after previous promotion

MASTER’S DEGREE: For application to grade of ADI and Deputy Director should be obtained on or before 2018

MASTER’S DEGREE: For application to the grade ADII should be obtained on or before 2017. It is however expected that Advertisement will be flown by the GES very soon.

2021 GES PROMOTION CAPSULES (P/S, AD II & AD I & DD)

Any Staff of GES due for promotion should be in preparedness for an Aptitude Test before the end of the year 2021.
