The Management of the Ghana statistical Service has revealed that some number of the 2021 Population and Housing Census (PHC) prospective field Officers will be put on an awaiting list.
According to GSS, the online application platform received more than 206,000 successfully submitted applications.
This heightened the competition for the selection of Field Officers (enumerators and supervisors) for the 2021 PHC. The service has therefore scrutinized applications following the desktop screening of the applications, in-person interviews, and considerations of locality and language representation.
Some individuals will therefore be placed on a waiting list pending the availability of a vacancy.
However, prospective applicants are urged to stay alert because they may be called on Monday 31st May 2021 to register and join the training should there be a vacancy. Persons are therefore encouraged to be prepared in any event.
