2021 BECE

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released the 2021 private Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) provisional results. The Council has hosted the results online and candidates may access their results at the Council’s website.

STATISTICS FOR STUDENTS WHO SAT FOR THE 2021 PRIVATE BECE

A total of 1,067 candidates made up of 584 males and 483 females entered for the examination which was written at 11 centers throughout the country. Out of the total number of candidates that registered, 929 sat for the examination, while 138 candidates were absent.

HOW TO CHECK/ACCESS YOUR BECE RESULTS

  1. Log onto the WAEC results checking portal by CLICKING HERE with an internet-connected device. With this process, using a computer will be recommended to enable saving the results in a pdf format for printing.
  2.  NOTE: you can however use your smartphone for viewing the results and later visit the internet café to make a printout since the results checker can be used 3 times to check the same results.
  3. On the next page ‘Enter your Index Number’.
  4. Select the Type of Examination (e.g.  BECE Private).
  5. Select your Examination Year (eg. 2020)
  6.  Enter the Serial Number found on the Voucher.
  7. Enter the 12-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Voucher (eg. 052149678614)
  8. Confirm your Index Number and Examination Year to certify that your examination information is correct.
  9. Click on Submit and agree to the terms and conditions that appear in the pop-up window.
  10. Click on the PRINT button to save it in PDf format.
