2022/2023 GES Study Leave with Pay Approval-Latest Update

Applicants for the 2022/2022 study leave with pay have begun to receive approval from the Ghana Education Service (GES).

The GES earlier this year opened the application window for its staff to apply for the 2022/2023 study leave with pay. This is to enable teachers and non-teaching staff to further or upgrade themselves in the higher institutions.

GES Study Leave with Pay Approved Courses for 2022/2023

The GES List of approved courses for study leave with pay for the 2022/2023 academic year includes the following;

  • Physics
  • English language
  • Chemistry
  • Biology
  • Mathematics
  • Integrated science
  •  Physical education
  • French language
  • Special Education
  • Ghanaian Language
  • Early Childhood
  • Religious studies

The above-listed courses are the 2022/2023 list of approved courses for GES study leave with pay. Applicants are to note that apart from the above listed, any other course to be studied at the university may disqualify one from getting study with pay approval.

Also, staff who enroll for further studies without approval in the first semester will be considered as having vacated posts.

2022/2023 GES study Approval Latest Update

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has started issuing study leave with pay approval letters to qualified applicants. Information gathered reveals that some regions have scheduled December 8, 2022, for applicants to visit the various regional offices to check their status with their admission letters. Applicants are advised not to make payment of admission fees before checking their status.
