According to the CNRT press secretary, new teachers who have not received their staff IDs are urged to stay calm as the GES is not done with the generation of the staff IDs per the records given by the deputy PRO for the Ministry of Education.
Mr. Yaw Mensah gave the statistics of the generated and non-generated staff IDs as follows;
According to him, the GES employed a total number of 16850 new teachers for the year 2022. He further revealed that 13,688 staff IDs have been generated so far as of 8th August 2022.
However, according to the press secretary for newly posted teachers, very few teachers still do not have their staff numbers because they already exchanged information before the August IDs were made public.
“The remaining number of people as at the time I spoke with him was 3162. To me, the remaining number could even be less since August’s figure was long generated before I had a conversation with him” he explained.
