GNACOPS to distribute very powerful laptops to teachers-Check out the features
The Ghana National Council of Private Schools (GNACOPS) is set to distribute laptops to private school teachers across the country. According to the council, the initiative will be officially launched on August 2, 2021. The laptops to be distributed are i7 laptops and tablets with full connectivity to both teachers and students. However, after the launch, a portal will be launched for interested private school teachers to apply.
This project is aiming at distributing 20,000 Laptops with routers to the teachers for them to pay over 36 months and installing 1 million educational Tablets in classrooms for all the students in Private Schools connect to global education platforms such as CISCO, FACEBOOK, GOOGLE Academy.
According to GNACOPS, this nationwide connectivity in private education is a major significant change to bring greater heights in our educational systems as it forms part of their role in redefining the role of Private Education in Ghana.
Unlike the Government of Ghana and the Teacher Unions ‘One teacher, One laptop’ initiative, these laptops come with very powerful features or specifications or features. Below are the specs:
