What is GNAT Mutual Fund?
The Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) mutual fund is to enable members to save prudently for retirement.
In 1998, the Ghana National Association of Teachers established the GNAT Mutual Fund Loan as a solidarity and retirement supplement program for members of the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT)
The GNAT mutual fund is a professionally managed investment portfolio of securities such as stocks, bonds, money market instruments and similar assets. A mutual fund’s assets are held by a trustee, who invests them in accordance with the fund’s objectives.
The shares of the funds are bought and sold on stock exchanges (or over-the-counter).
Who Qualifies for GNAT Mutual Fund Loan?
To be eligible for the GNAT mutual fund loan facility, one must have contributed to the Fund for at least six (6) months. A member’s capacity to access any amount is determined by his or her available affordability.

GNAT Loan applications must be submitted with a photocopy of an up-to-date ID. Loan application forms may be downloaded from our website or you can visit any GNAT office to obtain them.
Submit completed forms in-person to your district or municipal office for processing of the loan to commence.

A completed personal loan application form may be obtained from the GNAT District Secretariat.
Two (2) passport-sized photographs
Two (2) signed Mandate Forms with different serial numbers
A Mandate Request Form (provided by GNAT District Secretariat)

How Long Does it take to get GNAT Mutual Fund Loan?
Under normal conditions, the processing and approval of a GNAT Mutual Fund loan application could take up to 3-4 weeks. However, owing to unforeseen circumstances, it may occasionally be delayed.
