The Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) has donated an amount of GH¢4000.00 to Mr. Azongo Emmanuel Abugri who is a teacher in Duadinyediga Primary in the Garu-Tempane District of the Upper East Region of Ghana.

According to GNAT, this donation is to aid Mr. Adzongo to undergo surgery.

As part of the union’s high affinity for its member’s welfare, in times of crisis, such as teachers’ condition of health has always been their priority. Currently, teachers who are members of the union enjoy free cancer treatment if the individual succumbs to the disease.

The union is therefore calling on teachers to pick a form or sign up at any of their offices located across the country to become a member.
