Here is why GNAT Mutual Fund Loans Processing is Delaying
The management of the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) has explained why the processing of loans at the facility has been delayed. A statement released and endorsed by the fund’s chief executive officer indicates that the delays in processing and disbursement of loans are due to the overwhelming number of applications received at the headquarters.
According to the fund’s team, they are working very hard to process all applications within the shortest possible time. However, should the trend of applications persist, loans will be disbursed within four (4) to six (6) weeks upon receipt of the application at the fund secretariat.
“Should the current trend persist, loans would be disbursed from four (4) to six (6) weeks upon receipt of applications at the fund secretariat. However, if the situation normalizes, we will revert to the previous turnaround time”
Management of the fund has however acknowledged the delay in disbursement which has caused inconveniences to loan applicants and has apologized. Therefore, management has assured members that they are doing everything possible to make sure loans are disbursed as early as possible.
