The Ghana Education Service (GES) has finally rescheduled the implementation of the new curriculum popularly known as the Common Core Curriculum (CCP) for Junior High School (JHS) teachers across the country.

According to our close source, the CCP has been rescheduled to be implemented next academic year.

Therefore Headteachers of various basic schools are to ensure that teachers continue to teach with the existing JHS syllabus.

However, teachers and all educational stakeholders are to note that the current JHS one pupils will write Basic Education Certificate Education (BECE) as the new curriculum will start with the current B6 pupils.
