JUST IN: Latest update about the distribution of laptops to teachers from GES
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has indicated that some laptops under the “One Teacher One Laptop” initiative have been received and are ready for distribution.
This was revealed in a press statement signed by the Deputy Director-General of GES, Anthony Boateng, and sighted by Educandghana.net.
According to the statement, as part of the modalities to ensure a smooth distribution process, all Regional Directors are to liaise with Headmasters/mistresses of Senior High Schools in their Regions to provide them with a validated list of names and staff ID numbers of Teachers in their various Schools.
The GES has however urged all Regional and District Directors of Education to submit this information to the Director-General latest by midday, Friday, 30th July 2021.
This must be treated with the necessary attention and urgency to ensure a smooth distribution.
