The Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) has after conducting an interview for shortlisted applicants for the 2021 Population and Housing Census (PHC) is set to release the list of qualified applicants who excelled during the interview. However, training organized for the regional trainers came to an end today, 25th May 2021.
According to the GSS, after securing storage space for logistics to be used for the conduction of the 2021 population and housing census in all 272 statistical districts, dispatching the materials to the districts is in progress. Training materials for approximately 76, 500 prospective field officers are to be trained from 31st May to 9th June. Meanwhile, logistics are to be used for data collection from 13th June to11th July. Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) will be distributed to census officials as well.
It is however key for individuals who attended the interview to note that effective tomorrow, the list of training of potential enumerators and supervisors will be published in the various districts. The training for prospective field officers is on Monday, 31st 2021. Individuals are urged to note that those who qualify will be called in the course of the week hence the need to stay alert.
Persons who qualify for the next stage (training stage) are urged to download (CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD) the field officers manual and study it since qualification to the next stage after the training will be based on the mastery level of the manual. MORE UPDATES SOON!!
