MTN Foundation will today hand over a 600-bed dormitory block to the Tamale Senior High School (TAMASCO) in the Northern Region. The constructed dormitory block is adjoined with a housemistress bungalow.

The Foundation has also furnished the dormitory with bunk beds. The 600-bed capacity dormitory will be handed over to the school today in tamale. The Project fits into the Education focus area of MTN Foundation and SDG 3 of supporting infrastructural development to promote effective teaching and learning.

This project also aligns with the national priority to improve educational infrastructure at the SHS level especially because of the Free SHS policy.

The project will provide a safe school environment for students in respect of accommodation and effective learning.
