NEW: Civil and Local Government workers receive a 15% increase in salary for 2021
A letter sighted by educandghana.net indicates that the government has approved the payment of fifteen percent (15%) premium of the premium for the 2021 monthly basic salary of the staff of Civil and Local Government Services (CLOSAG).
According to the letter, this was a Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) reached between the government represented by the Hon. Minister of Employment and Labour Relation, Executives of the Civil and Local Government Services Association (CLOSAG).
Meanwhile, the effective date of implementation is January 1, 2021 with the following Payment period of arrears:
