The decision of the Government of Ghana to provide teachers with laptops has seen light.

The three teacher unions after a press statement issued by the Ghana Education Service (GES) lauded the decision by the government to help provide teachers across the country with laptops.

REACTION FROM GNAT, NAGRAT AND CCT-GH

The leadership could not hide their joy as they believe this initiative will help bridge the ICT gap among teachers and therefore expressed their willingness to accept the laptops in good fate and as a result, assured the GES and the government that teachers are ready and prepared to receive the said laptops to teachers.

CURRENT DEVELOPMENT ON DISTRIBUTION

Information made available to educandghana.net indicates that the some districts have received the laptops awaiting distribution.
Teachers will however be called in batches to receive the said laptop when it reaches each district.
