The Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) has released the academic calendar with dates for second-cycle schools in the country.
According to a press statement sighted by Educandghana.net and signed by the Deputy Director-General of GES, Dr. Kwabena Bempah Tandoh indicates that all Heads of second-cycle Schools are to note that the service has released an academic calendar with all tracks of students for the 2021 academic year.
According to the new calendar, GOLD Track SHS 2 students will vacate on 28 May 2021 whereas the GREEN Track SHS 2 students resume on 1st June 2021. The GES has therefore urged all heads of Second Cycle schools to take note of this new development.
Meanwhile, Regional Directors of Education are requested to ensure that Heads of Second Cycle Schools relay the dates to students, parents, and all concerned.
