The Government of Ghana has paid the 2021 November Salaries with the Teachers Professional Development Allowance (PDA) inclusive.
The various commercial banks after receiving payment vouchers for November 2021 from the Controller And Accountant General’s Department CAGD have started to credit public sector workers’ accounts.
Information gathered by Educand Ghana Network reveals that the yearly teachers’ professional development allowance has also been paid as initially promised.
However, the brouhaha surrounding the unexplained deductions that appeared during validation still holds. We can authoritatively confirm that an amount of GHS509.55 has been deducted from the teachers’ professional development allowance.
Professional teachers within the Ghana Education Service(GES) were expecting a full payment of GHS 1,200 because of a Court injunction that was imposed on the deduction.
Meanwhile, the income tax deductions and the supposed deduction of about GHS 100 which was supposed to be deducted have been reversed successfully. More Updates Soon!!
