The National Teaching Council (NTC) is directing all teachers whose Staff IDs or SSNIT numbers failed to be verified by the system to do the needful by emailing them with their payslip and SSNT ID Card to the council.
This came as a result of complaints received by some group of people who could not verify the above-mentioned details thereby denying them access to registration on the teacher portal.
According to an information made available on the teacher portal, in-service teachers recruited before 2018 who cannot verify their staff ID should send their payslip and SSNIT ID card to email@example.com and expect a response in 48 hours.
Meanwhile, a statement issued by the National Teaching Council indicates that all qualified teachers who were employed before 1st September 2018 are required to log on to the Teachers Portal Ghana (TPG) via tpg.ntc.gov.gh and register. The deadline for registration on the portal is 7th May 2021. However, information made available by NTC indicates that the council is yet to receive data on GES teachers recruited late 2019 and beyond are yet to be fed into the NTC system.
With the help of your smartphone, snap and convert your SSNIT ID card and convert it into a PDF format. Download your payslip in addition and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. Wait for 48 hours to get a feedback.
