Some teachers in Asutifi North District have not been paid for three months
Some teachers in the Asutifi North Education District have not been paid for the past three months over the failure of the District Education Directorate to validate them.
A victim who interacted with educandghana.net revealed that some schools in the district do not have a validation code or an Electronic Salary Payment Voucher (ESPV) code. Due to this circumstance, the names of these teachers always appear on the office ESPV hence they are validated by the district education office.
The victim whose name has been withheld revealed that the person in charge of the validation refused to validate these teachers in the month of June, July, and August.
In his submission, he lamented that all the affected teachers are trying very hard to give out the best they can to the Ghana Education Service and mother Ghana as a whole but the situation seems to demoralize them. He, therefore, called on the Ghana Education Service (GES) and the Ministry of Education to intervene.
