SSNIT and NIA numbers to be merged- Here are the requirements

Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) and National Identification Authority (NAI) Numbers will roll out SSNIT and NIA number merging on the 28th June 2021.

According to the management of SSNIT, in order for individuals to successfully take part in the exercise, one must have the following details;

One must have the following requisites as a requirement

1. A National Identification Authority(NIA) Number
2. SSNIT Number
3. Mobile Phone Number
4. Active Email Number

WHY YOU SHOULD MERGE YOUR SSNIT AND NIA NUMBERS
Individuals are urged to merge their SSNIT and NIA number because of the following reasons;
Persons who merge the two numbers save the stress of carrying many national IDs everywhere you go. Mergers have to carry your Ghana Card for all transactions.
Also, it will help in the easy identification of nominated dependants. Also, individuals save money as there is no payment for SSNIT cards.
Lastly, it is a legal requirement.
