TEACHER LICENSE: Here are the details that will be made available on your license card

The National Teaching Council will soon begin the issuance of licenses to teachers across Ghana. This was made known in a press statement issued by the council on the 22nd of April, 2021.
The NTC in the same release disclosed that the deadline for the teacher portal registration indefinitely after stakeholders’ consultation. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER

Educandghana.net has however delved much into the processes involved and details that will be made available on the license card.

Information gathered by our team indicate that the license details on the card will also be available on the Teacher Portal Ghana (TPG) dashboard of each individual or person.
On the left side will bear the passport picture of the person and on the right are four (4) fields.

The following details are also embedded on the card;

LICENCE HOLDER: This is the full name of the licence holder.

LICENCE NUMBER: This number is generated when your account is
activated and is both your registered number and licence number.
It is in the format TTKXXXXKYY: where TT is the type of teacher
you are -either professional (PT) or non-professional (NPT)
KXXXXX is your serial number and YY is the earliest year you completed academic/professional qualification.

ISSUE DATE: This is the date your licence is issued.

EXPIRY DATE: This is the date after which your licence is invalid. It is automatically set to two years after your issue date.
