Update on 2021 Base pay negotiations

Share this:

The negotiation for the 2021 base pay commenced in March, 2021.

After negotiations halted for the National Tripartite Committee (NTC) to infer the minimum wage which forms an integral part in determining the 2021 base pay, the minimum wage is yet to be determined.

Information gathered by Educandghana.net indicates that
Base pay negotiation for all public sector workers under the single spine salary structure is still ongoing.

Moreover, the NTC has not reached any agreement as at their last meeting which occurred last week. They’re expected to meet again in the coming week to see if agreement will be reached.
For that matter there hasn’t been any agreement yet on base pay and no one in the public sector should expect a rise in pay unless that person has an unpaid, promotion, upgrading or other salary related issues which could be released.

However, while we keep the Ghanaian workers updated, we will not relent in our efforts to ensure that every little bit of update is made available to our readers.
