GES responsibility allowance

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has released an update concerning the 2021 GES promotions exam.

Information made available to educandghana indicates that, an emergency meeting was convened today 20th April 2021 at GES headquarters, chaired by lawyer Anthony Boateng (Deputy Director in charge of management services and assistant secretary to the GES council) on the way forward for this year promotions.

After lengthy deliberations, it came to a conclusion that the results shall be released on 5th may 2021. However the passmark for the result is pegged at 50/75. Moreover, the marks for the self appraisal shall not count because it has been abused by professional.

Irrespective of the above passmark, all ranks must exceed 50% but shall not exceed 52%. In the event that the pass mark for a category of rank does not reach 50%, the pass mark Shall be reduced for that rank till 50% of professionals pass.
