URGENT: All 2021 GES Inter-regional Transfer Applicants Must Take Note

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has opened the transfer window for all GES staff who seek to leave a particular region to another. However, the 2021 GES transfer processes came with a lot of changes as teachers who first applied were directed to re-apply because of the new directives from the GES.

Teachers are to note that inter-regional release, that is teachers who seek to leave a particular region must have their assurance letters signed by the receiving Regional Directors of Education. However, teachers who submitted their assurance letters for release without the REGIONAL DIRECTOR’S cover letter should also adhere to the directive above to enable the various directorates to process their documents for release. Individuals who fail to comply cannot be released from their current district.

All applicants are to note that the 2021 GES inter-regional transfer assurances must be given by the Regional Director of Education. This directive however covers both basic and Senior High Schools as far as the 2021 GES inter-regional transfer is concerned.
