Why some public sector workers will not be paid in the subsequent months
The Controller and Accountant General Department (CAGD) has issued a statement indicating that some workers in the public sector will not be paid in subsequent months.
According to the statement issued and sighted by Educandghana.net, the exercise commenced in the month of September 2022 and will continue till the animally is corrected.
According to Educand Ghana checks, the main reason for the problem is that the victims’ payroll information and Ghana card information are different, making them appear to be ghost identities.
Many employees believe that the government is buying time to pay all public sector employees later because it looks like it does not have enough money to do so.
What could CAGD Do?
What is wrong with our public institutions?
By providing them notices and urging them to arrive and clear themselves prior to this period, couldn’t CAGD prevent this suspension of their salaries? Is it a must that somebody’s salary be blocked?
Affected persons are urged to redeem themselves by sending along their Ghana card in addition to these documents HERE.
However, if you are aware that you lack the Ghana card or that your name does not closely match, you may accompany yourself with any acceptable ID, such as an SSNIT CARD or a voter ID.
